The past few months having been very busy with the birth of our daughter, Margaux and some final renovations on our house. We did not know whether we were having a boy or girl, so the subject of the “neutral” nursery was certainly up for discussion.  All Summer I had questions about the color scheme and “How on Earth I could be Surprised about the Gender?”  Most people assumed we would go with a “neutral” color scheme of beige or grey, but I’m certainly not a beige person and doubted the baby would be either!

Green seems to be a big player in my home’s decor and a neutral in my opinion! Nature is full of shades of green, which blend with every color in the rainbow, whether it be blue, purple, or even red! It seemed a no-brainer to use green as the main color in the nursery- I welted everything in a lime green and found a wonderfully whimsically print to use on the roman shades, bumpers, and rocking chair. I think this will be a nursery that will evolve and grow as Margaux does!
